Under the management of CGU U12 Manager David Watson (St Austell) there will be an U12s Mini Tour series of 5 events taking place this year commencing in March and you can find links to details of them at the foot of this article. The events will take place at Newquay, St Austell (2), St Enodoc and Truro

The main intention of this tour is to promote the game of golf to our younger players by providing a fun shortened version that almost anyone can play. Please note the 2 categories - assisted and unassisted, and the upper handicap limit of 54. The assisted category is for those young golfers who will need help around the golf course. So as long as you think a junior is capable of participating in either category, then they are very welcome to play!!

The cost of entry will be £10, and this will cover all 5 events, prizes and the final meal at the last event.

After due consideration and to encourage golf take up by girls, it has been decided to increase the age limit to 13 for all girls.

Please pass this information to your juniors and ask them to apply sooner rather than later as there has to date been considerable interest. Entries will close at the end of February 2017.
