Seniors Finish Fourth at Tiverton

Cornwall County Seniors finished in a disappointing fourth spot in the South Western Counties Golf Association Seniors Championship staged over two days at Tiverton GC, Devon.
With five scores to count from a nominated 6 man team on each day, the Duchy total of 765 was 25 shots behind both Dorset and Devon (both 740) with the former county qualifying for the national finals later this year by virtue of countback. Gloucestershire took third spot on 758.
Leading light for Cornwall was Colin Kitt (China Fleet) who returned rounds of 75 and 73 to finish in 8th spot in the individual competition.
