Cornwall Team to Face Gwent
CGU County Captain Ian Veale has named the Duchy team to face Gwent in next Sunday's second Channel League fixture of the season. After an opening home setback to Gloucestershire at the start of the month, the side sees a number of enforced changes due to non-availability and a fixture clash with the West of England Strokeplay event taking place at Saunton.
Veale himself will play and in come a handful of other players including the Trevose trio of Mark Grootz, Steve Davies and Craig Thomas as well as Perranporth's Jack Mewton.
The full Cornwall team is: Aaron Stephens, Jon Hancock (Newquay), Richard Jasper (Launceston), Matt Richards (West Cornwall), Steve Davies, Mark Grootz, Craig Thomas (Trevose), Veale (Tehidy Park), Kieran Faulkner (Looe) and Mewton (Perranporth).
George Leigh, Joe Reynard (both Trevose) and Rob MacGregor (Tehidy Park) compete at Saunton along with Ryan Curtis (Bude & N Cornwall).
