Gurd Named as U16 Captain

Cameron Gurd plays his tee shot at West Cornwall GC's par 3 15th hole in the recent South West Four Counties Championship.

Perranporth Junior Cameron Gurd has been named as the Captain of the Duchy U16 team for the 2018 season. Now firmly established as one of the best young golfers in the county, 15 year old Gurd is rewarded with the captaincy of the Cornwall team which will play in the 2018 Ben Enoch Trophy. Cornwall hold the trophy after coming out on top of the league in which matches are played against Devon, Dorset and Somerset. This year's campaign gets underway with an away fixture v Devon at Holsworthy GC on Sunday 20th May 2018.
