R & A Pace of Play Manual
The pace of play in golf has been a long standing thorn in the side of the game. Whilst many have views on how to improve matters there has to date been no formal guidance on practices which might assist. Clubs have sought many varied individual remedies of their own.
Now though the Royal & Ancient - golf's global governing body in company with the USGA - has published a Pace of Play Manual. It describes the manual as a practical guide that brings together a wide selection of solutions to pace of play issues, focussing on management practices, course set-up and player behaviour.
