Alfie Shines at Minch!
County Men's and Junior Team member Alfie Chapman (St Enodoc) played in the West of England U16’s Open Amateur Strokeplay Championships held over the Cherington Course at Minchinhampton, Glos on Sunday 21st September.
Alfie, who is having a good season, made his debut for the County Men earlier this year and has been a member of junior county teams at U14, U16 and U18 levels.
At Minchinhampton his two rounds of 72 and 69 saw him finish in a tie for 7th place on 141 (2 under par), 6 shots behind winner Oliver Badger (Hagley). Yet another good performance. Well done young man!

Alfie is soon to attend an England Golf Regional assessment and we all wish him well for this.
Alex Simmons (Tehidy Park) also played in the same competition. Her scores of 75 and 76 meant a tied 27th spot.
