Well Done Guy Norris!

Very well done to Guy Norris (Trevose) who yesterday finished in a tie for 22nd spot at the R&A Seniors Amateur Championship staged over 4 days at Walton Heath GC.

Norris - Cornwall's only entry in the 168 man field - scored a first round 76 (+4) but then shifted up a gear to return a 2 under 70 followed by a one under 71 to make the final cut of just 40 players. A final round 74 meant a very good all round tournament performance for Norris.

Norris now turns his attention to Minehead GC where he is part of the 8 man Cornwall team taking part this coming week in the SWCGA Seniors Championship
