Harry Hall Continues to Shine

With everyone in Cornish Golf supporting his PGA Tour efforts, Harry Hall continues to shine as evidenced by his top 10 finish in last weeks Travelers Championship signature event at TPC Highlands. Harry's final round five under 65 saw him move up 16 places in the field to 9th spot and earning himself a cool $540K. More importantly he now stands 47th in the FedEx Cup rankings.

The FedExCup is a season-long points competition which culminates with the FedExCup Playoffs, a series of three events to determine the FedExCup champion. The top 70 players in the FedExCup standings are eligible for the FedExCup Playoffs with the three events featuring a progressive cut with fields of 70 (FedEx St. Jude Championship), 50 (BMW Championship) and 30 (TOUR Championship). The TOUR Championship will be played as a 72-hole stroke-play event, with all players starting the tournament at even par. The best performer over the course of four rounds at the TOUR Championship will win the FedExCup.

The top 50 players in the FedExCup standings are fully exempt for the following season, including The Players Championship and all eight signature Events.

Next up for Harry is this week's Rocket Classic at Detroit GC, which starts today.

Harry is then scheduled to play Open Championship Final Qualifying over 36 holes at Burnham & Berrow GC, Somerset on Tuesday 1st July. Harry shows on the startsheet as drawn with a fellow PGA Tour professional in Anirban Lahiri and host club amateur Freddie Turnell . The trio are due to tee off at 7.10am and 12.40pm.
