SW Week 2025 Day 2 Defeat for Duchy

After the elation of the Day 1 win over Dorset, Cornwall were brought back to earth with a bump on Day 2 as they lost 8-6 to Somerset.

After the morning 8 singles matches the Duchy led 4.5 - 3.5 with singles wins for Jamie Greet, Matt Richards (pictured below), Tom Stephens and Billy Downing and a half for Louis Archer.

Out of the four afternoon foursomes (each worth 1.5 points) three went the way of the opposition with Cornwall recording just the one win through Jon Hancock & Ethan Tempest.
