Ivyleaf is Affiliated
Its a welcome back into the CGU fold to Ivlyeaf Golf Centre as England Golf have today confirmed their affiliated club status!
Ivyleaf, which was previously affiliated, is once again part of the Cornwall Golf Union.
The club just outside of Bude is now in the hands of Lee Flamson and Lee Hawkins. A peek at the club's website - www.ivyleafgolf.com - shows the two Lees are lifelong friends with a passion for golf and who decided to turn their hobby into a full-time commitment at the end of the Covid period , bringing a fresh perspective and boundless energy to the greens. Their journey began on a building project, leading to the establishment of their loft conversion company before seizing the opportunity to breathe new life into Ivyleaf. They've been tirelessly investing in improvements, from the state-of-the-art flood lights to an ongoing battle with the greens.
The site boasts a floodlit driving range with 7 under cover bays as well as a golf simulator where you can choose from 150,000+ courses, improve your game with shot analysis, and enjoy the experience with up to 4 players per session. (Prices 9 holes - £14 and 18 holes - £22.50) The simulator is only open open during office hours but a call to the club can enable bookings out of these times. The club will soon have a provisional course rating enabling it to deliver WHS compliant competitions and member handicaps.
