This years CGU County Dinner will take place at the Lanhydrock Hotel &GC on Friday 22nd November 2024
Our Guest Speaker will be Iain Carter who is the BBC’s golf correspondent, a role he has held for over 20 years leading the Radio 5 Live commentary teams at all the biggest events including the Open, other Majors as well as the Ryder and Solheim Cups. Iain writes regularly for the BBC Sport website, appears as a regular guest on the Chipping Forecast podcast and has written a number of books including 'Golf Wars' published earlier this year and which focusses on the power struggle between the PGA Tour and LIV. Carter’s insightful commentary and in-depth knowledge of the sport have made him a very well respected voice in golf journalism. His public speaking engagements focus on the major events in golf, the intricacies of the sport, and his experiences covering top tournaments. His talks are informative, humorous and engaging for all golf enthusiasts.
Tickets for the dinner will cost £40. The menu will be circulated shortly.
