Mens Team Named for Dorset Match
County Captain Peter Simmons has named his team to face Dorset in a Channel League encounter on Sunday 5th May 2024 at West Cornwall GC.
After a narrow defeat in their opening match away to Somerset a week ago, the hope is a quick bounceback over 36 holes on home soil at Lelant. Simmons is delighted to welcome back Tom Stephens (Trevose) from his studies in the USA and Tom will once again form a solid partnership with the host club's Matt Richards. Also back in the side are West Cornwall's Jack Kevern and George Champion (Truro). Simmons names three reserves all of whom featured in the match versus Somerset.
18 holes of morning foursomes will be followed by 10 singles matches.
