U14s and U16s to face Dorset tomorrow
Both the Cornwall U14 and U16 Boys teams are in action tomorrow at St Austell GC as they face Dorset in the last of the season's junior inter county fixtures.
For the unbeaten U16s there is the opportunity to clinch the Ben Enoch Trophy with either a halved match or a win whilst the U14s will be looking to follow up on their recent away win in Somerset with another.
The U16 team named by manager Dave Drewett is: Hugo Watson and Harry Richards (both Carlyon Bay), Harry Drewett (Falmouth), Tommy Miller and Heath Coombes (both Newquay), James Tucknott (Radnor), Jack Welch (Whitsand Bay) and Kai Dingle (The Point).
For the U14s Team Managers Mark Wallwork and Lee Bateman have selected: Tiernan Wallwork (Tehidy Park), Joab Atkins (Trethorne), Archie Haynes (Carlyon Bay), Jago Crapp (Mullion), Jay Dingle (The Point), Quinn Bateman (St Enodoc), Ryan Tozer (Launceston) and there is a debut for Harrison Gurd (Perranporth).
The match gets underway from 9.30am with the U14s playing 9 holes of foursomes and then 18 hole singles whilst the U16s have 18 holes of each.
