Development Squad To Face Gloucestershire at Bude

The Cornwall Men's Development Squad are to face a Gloucestershire County team this coming Sunday 7th August at Bude & N Cornwall GC. 

The teams will play a Channel League format with 5 morning foursome games followed by 10 singles games in the afternoon.

Cornwall County Captain Charlie Phillips  introduces a number of new faces to represent Cornwall at Men's level. They include the Bude duo of Connor Vanstone and Charlie Ward who were part of the winning Cornwall U18 Boys team in Dorset last weekend, St Enodoc's Club Champion Louis Archer, Carlyon Bay prospect Max Gay, Tehidy Park's Tom Chapman and Newquay's Adam Herman.

The full team is: Zac Burrough (Merlin), Connor Vanstone, Charlie Ward, Louis Archer, Adam Herman, Luke Hart (Newquay), Alec Nile (Carlyon Bay), Max Gay,  Tom Chapman and Jamie Greet (Mullion).

The match gets underway at 8.30am

Philips says "Gloucestershire are one, if not the best County team in England. My team will be up against some excellent players".

Supporters and spectators will be most welcome.
