England Golf Update re 2nd December Resumption
England Golf have updated their Framework for Playing Golf ahead of the national resumption on Wednesday 2nd Decemeber 2020.

This framework forms part of their ‘Play Safe, Stay Safe’support and guidance for golfers, clubs and counties. All frameworks can be accessed through the England Golf website
From Wednesday 2nd December three tiers of restrictions will again apply across England. An overview of all restrictions is provided on theGovernment website –click here
Additional guidance is provided for clubs/ facilities in Tier Two (High Alert) and Tier Three (Very High Alert), which may supersede parts of the framework document.

The Government’s website provides two methods to check tiers and guidance
In short
- Four-ball groups are permitted on-course with no restriction on the mixing of households within those groups in all tiers.
- There is no bar to comeptition golf
- Overall group sizes must not exceed six, including any caddies or chaperones
- Clubhouse bar and catering facilities may be open in Tier One areas
- In Tier One areas, locker rooms may be open for storage of golf clubs in allocated personal lockers. Players should still arrive changed for play and refrain from showering or changing in locker rooms
- Where open, last orders for service must be by 10.00pm with facilities closed by 11.00pm
