George Leigh - Cornwall Amateur Champion 2019

George Leigh (Trevose) yesterday became County Amateur Champion after winning the final staged at the culmination of a very successful CGU County Week at Mullion GC.

16 year old Leigh defeated Matt Richards (West Cornwall) 5&4 to take the title and cap a memorable week in which he was named as one of four talented players who will represent England in the Irish Boys’ Amateur at New Forest Golf Club from 25-28 June.
