Cornwall recovered their dominance winning the last two matches Cameron Gurd beating Jack Parry 3&2 and Junior County Champion Isaac D’Bue winning comprehensively 5&4 against Matt Lewis.
Cornwall won the match 5.5 - 2.5 and now go on to play Somerset on the 3rd August in the same Greenaway Trophy Competition which may determine which County wins the Silverware.
On conclusion of the match, and after enjoying a Cornish pasty and refreshments, the respective County Captains exchanged mutually respectful presentations and were enthusiastic in their thanks to Perranporth Golf Club for being such excellent hosts, for presenting a course in superb condition and to all the background staff and officials of both Counties for their organisation and support.
