Hall Finishes Well in PGA Tour's Amex Event

Cornwall's Harry Hall yesterday finished Tied 47th in only his second full PGA tour start.

Playing on a sponsor's exemption in the Tour's American Express Championship at La Quinta, California,  'H' first of all made the cut on minus 4 after two rounds of 70. In Round 3 a level par 72 left him in 55th spot. Harry's final round was his best of the tournament and he finished it in style. Having started on the 10th tee he was level par when he came to his last two holes. An eagle 3 at the par 5 eighth and a birdie at the par 4 ninth meant a 3 under par 69 which moved him up the field 8 spots into the tie for 47th on 7 under par.

Hall, who has a full Korn Ferry Tour card for 2021, should be very proud of his performance and when you look around the Amex field there is evidence of his burgeoning pedigree. He finished ahead of Major winners Charles Schwartzel and Zach Johnson whilst those who did not make the cut included other major winners in Brooks Koepka (with whom Harry played part of a practice round), Phil Mickelson and last week's PGA Tour winner in Hawaii, Kevin Na.

Just prior to the Amex, Hall took part in a Q&A session captioned above and you can read this here
