Framework For Playing Golf - Latest Update (23rd Sept 2020)

England Golf have just issued their latest update to The Framework on Playing Golf. Changes are marked in blue text.

England Golf say " The updates do not alter the existing regulations on how to play the game, but do require changes in practice for how clubhouse facilities are operated. 

The following updates and additions are included:

Clubs/ facilities must display an official NHS QR Code for track and trace

Face coverings must be worn by staff, golfers and visitors in all public areas except when seated in bars and restaurants

Clubhouses must close by 10.00pm and not open until 5.00am

Food and beverage must be table service or take-away 

Clubs should also be aware that localised lockdown restrictions already in place or imposed in the future may supersede those in the main framework.  Details of local restrictions can be found on the government's website.

In such areas, clubs should liaise with the appropriate local authority for support on compliance with restrictions.
