Riddle and Radnor Rule Summer Sevens

Radnor are the 2019 Summer Handicap League Champions after they sealed a 4-3 away win at Clowance on Saturday.

Radnor headed the table going into this year's final match, and statistically needed to avoid a whitewash defeat. They did that in style and came out on top in a nevertheless nail biting encounter which was finally resolved on the 19th hole by Paul Riddle.

Riddle had won all of his previous matches for Radnor in this year's campaign. He maintained his 100% record after sinking a 30 footer at the first extra hole to give Radnor the match win and to seal the league title by two points from last year's joint winners Treloy with Budock Vean finishing third.

The Summer Handicap League provides inter club singles matchplay for teams of seven players from clubs with less than 250 members.
