Cornwall enjoyed a good win over Wiltshire in the Channel League yesterday at Newquay.
Having lost their opening league game to Devon it was important for the Cornwall team to bounce back with a good performance in their first home game.
After getting the better of the morning foursomes 3-2 Cornwall were forced onto the back foot when Wiltshire reeled off the first 3 singles matches in the afternoon.
Decisively though Cornwall regained control of the match when Steve Chapman, Aaron Stephens and Mike Reynard all won their matches on the last green to record vital wins.
Cornwall quickly wrapped up the remaining matches to record an excellent 10-5 win.
Cornwall’s next match is on Sunday 8th May when they travel to Wells to play Somerset.
