CGU Seniors Championship (Stableford) Rules

ALL ENTRY FEES MUST BE PAID ONLINE OR SENT BY BACS TO CGU ACCOUNT NO. 00015677 AT SORT CODE 30-95-08

An entrant for the Seniors (Stableford) Championship must be:
a) a member of a club affiliated to the Cornwall Golf Union, or
b) born in Cornwall and a member of an affiliated club in another County, and
c) not have taken part in a golf championship of another county or have played for another County in representative matches, including friendly matches, during the same calendar year.


Conditions of the Competitions.

Cornish Seniors Championship.
a) 18 hole stableford event played off handicap,
b)Max Handicap Index 24.0
c)Ties for handicap prizes will be decided on the scores for the last 9, 6, 3 holes etc. Should a tie still exist, the prize will be shared.
d)Starting times will be decided by the Cornwall Golf Union. Any competitor who is not present on the tee at his appointed starting time will be disqualified.
e)Handicap prizes will be presented in five age groups, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74 and 75 and over. All ages will be taken to be on the day of competition. In the event that the event is over-subscribed, selection will take place on a combined basis of age and handicap.

Trophies will be held by the Winner until the following year’s event.

Entrance fees will be refunded to unsuccessful applicants but no entrance fees will be refunded after the Draw has taken place.
