CGU Seniors Championship (Medal) - Rd 1 Rules

Qualification.
a) The Competition is open to any amateur male member of a Club affiliated to the Cornwall Golf Union and who is 55 years of age or more on the day of the competition. Amateurs must hold a handicap which is valid at the date of the competition under the rules of the CONGU Unified Handicapping System. No Member is eligible who has competed in any other County Championship during the previous twelve months.


Conditions of the Competitions.

Cornish Seniors Championship.
a) 36 hole strokeplay scratch,
b)Max Handicap 24.
c)In the event of a tie after 36 holes there will be a playoff
d)Starting times will be decided by the Cornwall Golf Union. Any competitor who is not present on the tee at his appointed starting time will be disqualified.
e)All ages will be taken to be on the day of competition. .

The trophy will be held by the Winner until the following year’s event.

Entrance fees will be refunded to unsuccessful applicants but no entrance fees will be refunded after the Draw has taken place.
