CGU County Captain David Kneebone has named his team to face Somerset this coming Sunday, 6th August at Trevose G & CC.

After their last match which saw Cornwall beat Gloucestershire by the unprecedented 15 - 0 margin at Perranporth, Kneebone has been forced to make changes to his team in what is a must win fixture if the Duchy are to retain an interest in winning this year's Channel League title. With Somerset having won the matchplay shield in June's SWCGA Championship, and thus earning the right to represent the South West at this year's English County Finals, they will be using the fixture as excellent practice with the finals being staged at Trevose in late September. It is expected they will bring a strong team to Cornwall for Sunday's clash.

Tom Fox returns to the side but Cornwall will miss Harry Hall, Matt Richards and Josh Greenaway who have all declared themselves unavailable. After a double win at Perranporth, Joe Reynard keeps his place in the team and he is joined by fellow junior George Leigh and another Trevose clubmate in the returning Steve Davies.

The Cornwall team is: Joe Cruse (St Enodoc), Tom Fox (China Fleet), Ryan Curtis (Bude & N Cornwall), Aaron Stephens (Newquay), Richard Jasper (Launceston), George Leigh, Steve Davies, Joe Reynard (all Trevose), Conor Wilson (Perranporth) and Rob MacGregor.
