On a beautiful spring day with the sun shining, a little breeze blowing,  CGU golf descended upon the ever accommodating Bowood Park. Many thanks Bowood and especially Max Stockwell. 

It was great to see and hear players reaction at meeting up again to do what they love to do….play golf. There were some stories from the past (Seniors) and a few with a slight nervous anticipation of taking on a past legend or two ( Development Squad ) Great to see!

The morning match was singles over 9 holes with most of the matches being  a close run thing. There were however 2 great front nines played. Steve Barns being -5 and Jordan Musitano -4.  Top shooting guys. 

The afternoon Greensomes were an even tighter affair, with all matches being close run. For the Seniors Kev Mula and Rod Handyside deserve special mention as their faultless performance proved too good for young Isaac D’Bue and Alec Nile. 

It was a great day helped enormously by great weather. Many thanks to Bowood GC members and staff notwithstanding all the players who attended on Mothers Day…. Appreciated.
