Cornwall will play their final Channel League fixture of the season away to Devon at Yelverton GC this coming Sunday, 12th September 2021.

Without a league win to date this year County Captain Charlie Phillips recalls a handful of players in the hope of restoring some pride after last week's home disappointment at the hands of Somerset.

Matt Richards (West Cornwall) returns to the team after a recent win in the prestigious Goodman Trophy competition at St Enodoc and there is also a recall for Goodman runner up Josh Greenaway (St Enodoc). The latter is joined by his recalled long term foursomes partner Richard Jasper (Launceston). George Champion (Truro) gets another chance to shine after illness prevented him from playing the previous weekend. Alex McHugh (Mullion), a debutant versus Somerset, retains his spot after a good singles win last time out.

The full team is: Richards, Greenaway, Jasper, Champion, McHugh, Jon Hancock (Newquay), Kieran Faulkner (Looe), Adam Bridgewater (Launceston), Thomas Stephens and Mark Grootz (both Trevose), Adam Bridgewater.

The action gets underway at Yelverton with 5 foursomes from 0900 followed by 10 afternoon singles. All support would be most welcome.
