Day 6 v Somerset Lost 9 - 5

After being unlucky to be trailing by 1 point after the morning singles, Cornwall tired in the afternoon foursomes and eventually went down 9-5 to Somerset, who secured 2nd place overall.

Day 5 v Devon Won 7.5 - 6.5

Cornwall produced a great performance to defeat our friends from across the Tamar! Josh Greenaway had the result of the day by beating the new South West Champion James Ruth 2&1.

Day 4 v Dorset Lost 8 -6

Cornwall's chances of winning the SW Counties Matchplay Shield took a severe blow following a 8 - 6 defeat at the hands of Dorset.

Credit goes to the Dorset team, who after 2 defeats produced an excelent display in the morning singles to record a 6.5 - 1.5 advantage and although Cornwall fought back strong in the afternoon foursomes they fell just short.

Day 3 EGU County Qualifier

Rob Macgregor's 66 equalled the best round of the day but Cornwall finish only 5th.

Day 2 v Gloucester Won 7.25 - 6.75

Ben Westgate and Richard Ackland spearheaded Cornwall's stunning win over hosts Gloucester with two wins each.

Day 1 v Wiltshire Lost 10.25 - 3.75

On paper there should have been nothing between the teams but Cornwall never got going and Wiltshire recorded a convincing win.
