West Cornwall's Matt Richards ties first in the individual
match play but just misses out in a four hole playoff.

Cornwall 6½ - Devon 8½
Cornwall lost narrowly to Devon at Trevose in their
opening Channel League match of the season. The match
was level after the morning foursomes but as the weather
closed in Devon raised their game to edge a close game.

to office at the Union's AGM last night. Malcolm

TREVOSE 8¾ - ST ENODOC 4
Trevose have regained the CTC shield after a 8¾
- 4 victory over St Enodoc today.
St Enodoc were trying towin the competition for the
first time in their clubs history but despite a spirited
performance they had no answer to the Trevose who boasted
the likes of current South West Champion Phillip White
from Somerset and former County Champion Mike Reynard
in their ranks.....
