The 2017 County Card offers added value for money as a result of a significant reduction in price. The card will cost just £12 for adults and £6 for juniors. Not only is there a reduction in the cost of the card but the benefit of having one will see you able to take advantage of reduced rates at over a 1000 golf clubs across England.

  A booking must be made be made with the club in advance of a visit.

The Cornwall Golf Union County Card for 2017 has added value this year

Cornwall has previously not been a member of the National County Card Scheme but the CGU Executive determined the county should seek to extend the benefit to its affiliated members and be a participant with 32 other English Unions and Associations.

The Card will allow Cornwall's membership to receive a green fee discount not just at Clubs within Cornwall but also at other clubs nationwide.    Please note the level of reduction in fees charged is at the prerogative of the hosting club but in the main those clubs try to ensure card holders get the best rate available to golfers at any time. The club has the right to refuse visiting players if the course is unavailable. Note: Weekends and Public Holidays are in the main excluded from the scheme. Some clubs may even elect to allow multiple County Card visits. (Please check with the club) Typically, the green fee will be 50% of the visitor rate, or the same as the ‘guest’ green fee.

Members should confirm with the club Secretary or Professional in advance so as to ensure it is convenient to play as a Card holder on a particular day, and ascertain the reduced fee payable. You may be refused if you just turn up and expect to play. The club is fully supported to refuse play on the card scheme in these instances

The card must be produced as proof of identity to obtain the concession.

Membership of the Cornwall County Card Scheme is only open to Cornwall golf club members.

Cards are valid for the calendar year only.
