With County Week 2017 having just concluded it is left for us to publicly thank Perranporth GC whole heartedly for their welcome and hospitality throughout the seven days of competition.

A total of 514 rounds of golf were played not forgetting the two days of A & B Team preliminaries held in the lead up to County Week itself. Entry levels for the various competitions were good and got off to a flying start when the Royal Cornwall Goblets saw a field of 230.

From the early days of meetings in preparation for the week the club was keen to ensure everything would run smoothly and they succeeded in this totally offering a very warm welcome to all those participating. The links course was presented in superb condition and all off course needs were met.

So thank you Perranporth for all your efforts and ongoing support of the Cornwall Golf Union - we will be back!
