6 May 2007 CORNWALL 8½ WILTSHIRE 6½ Cornwall have won their opening Channel League game against Wiltshire today at St Enodoc. Leading 3-2 at lunch Cornwall quickly added another 4½ points to their morning total leaving them needing a ½ point for victory with 3 games left out on the course. In a tense finish it came down to the last match with Richard Simmons making a par at the last to secure a 1up victory and a win for Cornwall................. |
