Cornwall narrowly failed to win the match-play shield as the lost by a single point to Gloucestershire in the last match,who over took them to retain the shield.

It was a disappointing end to a great week that had seen Cornwall lead from day 1 only to be cruelly denied on the final day.

The team can be proud of the way they played this week and we thank the caddies and supporters for getting behind the team.

At the presentation Steve Chapman of St Enodoc and Alex Macgregor of Killiow were selected for the South West Team to play The Midlands
at Broadstone Golf Club 12th / 13th October 2007.
