The 2007 SW BOYS CHAMPION

Billy Downing from Truro is the 2007 South West Boys Champion.......

Billy Downing has won the South West Boys Amateur Championship which took place at Enmore Park Golf Club, Somerset last Thursday.

Billy,from Truro Golf Club recorded excellent scores of 67 + 71 for a 4 under par total of 138 to win by 3 shots from four players on 141.

The championship also the qualifier for the English Boys County Championships and was won by a strong Somerset team, on home soil with a 10 Round combined score of 719. Cornwall finished joint 3rd on 728.

Well done to all the boys who played.
